Actions to determine boundary lines shall be governed by the general rules relating to pleadings, practice, and procedure in civil actions as near as may be, except as otherwise provided in this chapter.

- Pleadings: Written statements of the parties in a civil case of their positions. In the federal courts, the principal pleadings are the complaint and the answer.
