The board may charge, or provide for a third-party administering the examination to charge, each applicant a fee, in an amount, not to exceed three hundred fifty dollars, prescribed by the board, by rule promulgated pursuant to chapter 1-26, for each section of the examination or reexamination taken by the applicant.
