Any person licensed under this chapter is subject to the disciplinary actions of this section. Disciplinary actions are subject to contested case procedure in chapter 1-26. The board may impose the following disciplinary actions if an applicant for a license or a licensee is found guilty of conduct which endangered or is likely to endanger the health, welfare, or safety of the public:
(1) Refuse to issue or renew a license;

- Person: includes natural persons, partnerships, associations, cooperative corporations, limited liability companies, and corporations. See South Dakota Codified Laws 2-14-2
- Restitution: The court-ordered payment of money by the defendant to the victim for damages caused by the criminal action.
(2) Issue a letter of reprimand or concern;
(3) Require restitution of fees;
(4) Impose probationary conditions;
(5) Suspend or revoke a license.
