After a license has been lapsed or inactive for six years and the licensee has not engaged in the practice of nursing for the past six years, the board may require written evidence, verified by oath, of the licensee’s successful completion of the reentry requirements as the board may establish by rules promulgated pursuant to chapter 1-26.
