Every service or indemnity–type contract issued by a nonprofit medical and surgical service plan corporation that is delivered, issued for delivery or renewed in this state, except for policies that provide coverage for specified disease or other limited benefit coverage, shall offer coverage for testing, diagnosis, and treatment of phenylketonuria including dietary management, formulas, case management, intake and screening, assessment, comprehensive care planning, and service referral.

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
