Terms Used In Tennessee Code 13-30-113
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means a corporation created pursuant to this chapter to operate a land bank. See Tennessee Code 13-30-103
- Local government: means :
(A) Any home rule municipality. See Tennessee Code 13-30-103
A corporation created pursuant to this chapter may be dissolved in the manner established by the creating local government or local governments or otherwise in accordance with general law for the dissolution of a public corporation.
