No judge or chancellor shall be competent, except by consent of all parties, to sit in the following cases:

- Property: includes both personal and real property. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
