In determining the best interests of the child under § 36-6-306, the court shall consider all pertinent matters, including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
Terms Used In Tennessee Code 36-6-307
- grandparent: includes , but is not limited to:
(1) A biological grandparent. See Tennessee Code 36-6-306 - Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Minor: means any person who has not attained eighteen (18) years of age. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
