Terms Used In Tennessee Code 37-5-124
- Child: means :
(i) A person under eighteen (18) years of age. See Tennessee Code 37-5-103 - Commissioner: means the commissioner of children's services. See Tennessee Code 37-5-103
- Department: means the department of children's services. See Tennessee Code 37-5-103
within ten (10) business days of the fatality or near fatality of such child to the members of the senate and house of representatives representing the child. The district attorney for the judicial district in which the child was located must also receive a copy of the report provided to the legislators and may communicate with the legislators representing the child about the report and its contents or about any other otherwise confidential information that the legislators may have acquired pursuant to § 37-5-107(d).
