Terms Used In Tennessee Code 37-5-515
- agency: means the person or entity that provides child care, regardless of whether such person or entity is licensed. See Tennessee Code 37-5-501
- Child: means :
(i) A person under eighteen (18) years of age. See Tennessee Code 37-5-103 - Department: means the department of children's services. See Tennessee Code 37-5-501
Actions by the department to deny or revoke or to otherwise limit any license, except for the summary suspension of a license, shall be reviewed by the child care agency board of review established pursuant to title 71, chapter 3, part 5.
