Terms Used In Tennessee Code 44-16-206

  • Baby chicks: means all domestic fowl six (6) weeks of age or under. See Tennessee Code 44-16-205
  • Person: includes every person, partnership, firm, company, association, society, public auction, community sale, sale pavilion, syndicate, and corporation. See Tennessee Code 44-16-205
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105

This part shall not be construed to include any person who hatches for sale one thousand (1,000) or fewer baby chicks per year.
