Terms Used In Tennessee Code 49-10-602
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Related services: means :
(A) Transportation and such developmental, corrective, and other supportive services required to assist a child with a disability to benefit from special education, including speech-language pathology and audiology services. See Tennessee Code 49-10-102
Nothing in this chapter limits any right that any child or the child’s parent or guardian may have to enforce the provision of any regular or special educational service. LEAs shall not delay the provision of education or related services to which a child is entitled.
