Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-21-120
- Attorney: means the person designated and authorized by subscribers as the attorney-in-fact having authority to obligate them on reciprocal insurance contracts. See Tennessee Code 56-16-102
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
If the company is compelled to collect the premiums or obligation by suit or through a collecting attorney, the insured shall be liable for all costs incident to the proceeding, including reasonable attorney’s fee.
