Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-7-1303
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Nonpayment of premium: means failure of the named insured to discharge when due any obligations in connection with the payment of premiums on a policy of automobile liability insurance or any installment of the premium, whether the premium is payable directly to the insurer or its agent or indirectly under any premium finance plan or extension of credit.
