Terms Used In Tennessee Code 62-26-224
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of commerce and insurance or the commissioner's designee. See Tennessee Code 62-26-202
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Deposition: An oral statement made before an officer authorized by law to administer oaths. Such statements are often taken to examine potential witnesses, to obtain discovery, or to be used later in trial.
