(1) There is created and established under the jurisdiction and control of the authority a revolving fund to be known as the “housing development fund”.
(2) There shall be paid into the housing development fund (a) any moneys appropriated and made available by the state for the purposes of the fund; (b) any moneys which the authority receives in repayment of advances made from the fund, and (c) any other moneys which may be made available to the authority for the purpose of the fund from any other source or sources.
Terms Used In Michigan Laws 125.1423
- Authority: means the Michigan state housing development authority created in this act. See Michigan Laws 125.1411
- Fund: means the housing development fund created by this act. See Michigan Laws 125.1411
- Housing development: means a development that contains a significant element of housing for persons of low or moderate income and elements of other housing and commercial, recreational, industrial, communal, and educational facilities that the authority determines improve the quality of the development as it relates to housing for persons of low or moderate income. See Michigan Laws 125.1411
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.
