Terms Used In Michigan Laws 16.227
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
The military establishment and the state military board created under Act No. 84 of the Public Acts of 1909, as amended, being section 32.1 to 32.85 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, are transferred by a type I transfer to the department of military affairs.
