- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The state fire safety board created under Act No. 200 of the Public Acts of 1965, being section 29.3a to 29.3c of the Compiled Laws of 1948, is transferred by a type I transfer to the department of state police.
