Terms Used In Michigan Laws 257.728c
- citation: means a complaint or notice upon which a police officer shall record an occurrence involving 1 or more vehicle law violations by the person cited. See Michigan Laws 257.727c
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
A complete audit of such citation records shall be made at least annually by the appropriate fiscal officer of the governmental agency to which the traffic enforcement agency is responsible; and may be audited by the state treasurer if deemed by him to be necessary.
