  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
    (1) Subject to subsection (2), a person who maintains a public nuisance in violation of section 3 or otherwise violates this act is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 or more than $100.00 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.
    (2) Beginning September 1, 2005, subsection (1) does not apply to a violation described in section 10.
