Terms Used In Michigan Laws 286.652
- Person: means an individual, partnership, association, corporation, legal representative, trustee, trustee in bankruptcy or receiver. See Michigan Laws 286.651
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. This act does not apply to an employment agency established and operated by this state, the United States or a municipality of this state or a person who operates a labor bureau or employment office in conjunction with his own business for the sole and exclusive purpose of employing help for his own use within this state, or to agricultural producers acting jointly or severally in securing farm laborers for their own use in this state.
