(1) A local unit may adopt an ordinance governing wolf-dog crosses that is more restrictive than this act.
(2) The requirements of this act are in addition to any other requirements governing a wolf-dog cross under state and federal law.
Terms Used In Michigan Laws 287.1021
- Local unit: means a city, village, township, or county. See Michigan Laws 287.1002
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
- Wolf-dog cross: means a canid resulting from the breeding of any of the following:
(i) A wolf with a dog. See Michigan Laws 287.1002
