Terms Used In Michigan Laws 3.253
- Property rights: means the ownership of an easement over, or any other interest in, real property or water located in this state. See Michigan Laws 3.252
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
- United States: means the federal government, or any agency or instrumentality of the federal government. See Michigan Laws 3.252
The consent of this state to the acquisition of any property rights by the United States for any purpose under clause 17 of section 8 of Article I of the constitution of the United States or for any other purpose shall be given only as provided in this act.
