Terms Used In Michigan Laws 32.1147

  • Judge advocate: means an officer who is designated as a judge advocate by the state judge advocate general. See Michigan Laws 32.1002
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
     The adjutant general or the state judge advocate general shall provide for the promulgation of rules pursuant to Act No. 306 of the Public Acts of 1969, as amended, being section 24.201 to 24.315 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, to carry out the purposes of this code.
