Terms Used In Michigan Laws 322.172

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.      The commissioner of the state land office, shall, as fast as such selections are made and returned to him, forward to the secretary of the interior of the United States, full and complete descriptions of all such lands, and obtain the necessary title to the state of Michigan for the same.
