- Interrogatories: Written questions asked by one party of an opposing party, who must answer them in writing under oath; a discovery device in a lawsuit.
The court before whom any such application is pending may issue subpoenas for and compel the attendance of witnesses, or may direct the examination of witnesses or interrogatories and compel such witnesses to submit to such examination for the purpose of establishing any point in any proceeding under this act.
