Any person who aids, attempts to aid, or causes a person admitted to a mental health facility by judicial order to leave the facility without authorization, or who aids, attempts to aid, or causes such a person to fail to return to the facility while on an authorized absence after a lawful request for his return has been made shall be guilty of a crime punishable by a sentence of not more than 2 years.
