- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Overdose fatality review team: means the multidisciplinary team established under this act by a county, a group of counties, or a tribe to conduct individual overdose reviews and overdose fatality reviews. See Michigan Laws 330.3023
- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
If an overdose fatality review team member knowingly discloses confidential information in violation of this act, a person aggrieved by that violation may bring a civil action for damages and any costs and reasonable attorney fees allowed by the court.
