Terms Used In Michigan Laws 333.16915

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
     The addition of this part to the code does not mandate additional coverage, payments, or benefits by a health care payment or benefits provider including, but not limited to, a health insurer, nonprofit health care corporation, or health maintenance organization.
