Election; time, notice. At least 3 weeks shall intervene between the adoption of the resolution by the board of supervisors and the time of holding such election. After the adoption of the resolution by the board of supervisors the county clerk shall give like notice of the submission of the question of the adoption of the county civil service system as is required by law in the case of elections to elect county officers.
