- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Proceedings in a hearing shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures applicable to the trial of contested cases under Act No. 306 of the Public Acts of 1969, as amended.
