Terms Used In Michigan Laws 427.304

  • Bed and breakfast: means that term as defined in section 4b of the Stille-DeRossett-Hale single state construction code act, 1972 PA 230, MCL 125. See Michigan Laws 427.301
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Hotel: means that term as defined in section 1 of 1913 PA 188, MCL 427. See Michigan Laws 427.301
  • Minor: means an individual under 18 years of age. See Michigan Laws 427.301
    A hotel or bed and breakfast may require that an individual provide documentary evidence confirming the age of an individual renting or leasing a hotel room or bed and breakfast room or documentary evidence of the emancipation of a minor, including a motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeur’s license, a registration certificate issued by the federal selective service, or other bona fide documentary evidence of the age and identity of the individual or emancipation of the minor.
