Any person violating any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than 50 dollars or more than 500 dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 6 months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
