Terms Used In Michigan Laws 447.159
- Authority: means the Michigan export development authority created by section 3. See Michigan Laws 447.152
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
The authority may issue, sell, and provide for the retirement of bonds in the amount of $50,000,000.00 to provide funds for the creation and operation of the authority. These bonds shall be limited obligations of the authority, the principal of and interest on which shall be payable solely out of the revenues derived by the authority. Bonds issued under this act shall not constitute an indebtedness of the state or the uthority within the meaning of any state constitutional provision or statutory limitation, but the bonds shall be indebtedness payable solely from bond revenues and fees, interest on the revenues and fees, and funds established for the payment of the bonds, and shall not constitute nor give rise to a pecuniary liability of the state or the authority, to a charge against the general credit of the authority or the state, or to a charge against the taxing powers of the state, and that fact shall be plainly stated on the face of each bond.
