- Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
- seal: shall be construed to include any of the following:
(a) The impression of the seal on the paper alone. See Michigan Laws 8.3n
Any mortgage which may have been heretofore executed by any such society, under its corporate seal, and under the hands of its president and secretary, in accordance with any vote or by-laws of such society, shall be valid and binding to all the intents and purposes in such mortgage expressed.
