Terms Used In Michigan Laws 488.26

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
     In the application of any state or federal statute to credit or deposit account relationships, the transfer of funds by use of a funds transfer facility shall constitute only an additional means of effecting a payment, and this act shall not be construed as limiting or enlarging the rights of persons under those statutes or any regulations legally promulgated pursuant thereto.
