- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The state drug treatment court advisory committee created under section 1082 shall monitor the effectiveness of veterans treatment courts and the availability of funding and present annual recommendations to the legislature and supreme court regarding statutory changes regarding veterans treatment courts.
