- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. For the service of all orders, processes or writs issued from the supreme court, the supreme court crier shall collect for such service the fees allowed by law to sheriffs. Any and all fees collected by the crier shall be paid into the state treasury to be credited to the general fund.
