- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. A license to practice law in this state is subject to suspension as provided in the support and visitation enforcement act, Act No. 295 of the Public Acts of 1982, being section 552.601 to 552.650 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, and the regulated occupation support enforcement act.
