- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
When any convict shall be delivered to the warden of either prison, the officer having such convict in his charge shall deliver to such warden the certified copy of the sentence, received by such officer from the clerk of the court, and shall take from such warden a certificate of the delivery of such convict; and such certified copy of the sentence of any convict shall be evidence of the facts therein contained.
