- Collector: means a person who collects wild ginseng. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Director: means the director of the department of agriculture or an authorized representative of the director. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- Ginseng: means Panaxquinquefolius L. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- Ginseng certificate: means a document issued by the department or other official agency authorized by the director that verifies the origin, quantity by weight, type, and condition of ginseng offered for inspection. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- Grower: means a person who grows cultivated ginseng. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
- Person: means an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, association, governmental entity, or other legal entity. See Michigan Laws 290.753
- provider: means a person that for compensation provides 1 or more telecommunication services. See Michigan Laws 484.2102
- services: includes regulated and unregulated services offered to customers for the transmission of 2-way interactive communication and associated usage. See Michigan Laws 484.2102
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
