Terms Used In Michigan Laws > Chapter 752 > Act 62 of 2016 - Human Trafficking Notification Act

  • Adult entertainment establishment: means either of the following:
    (i) An adult entertainment establishment that holds a topless activity permit under section 916(3) of the Michigan liquor control code of 1998, 1998 PA 58, MCL 436. See Michigan Laws 752.1032
  • Department: means the department of licensing and regulatory affairs. See Michigan Laws 752.1032
  • Human trafficking notice: means the notice described in section 5. See Michigan Laws 752.1032
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
