(a) The commissioner may order the dissolution of the corporation at any time the commissioner determines that the purposes of this chapter have been fulfilled or that the corporation is inoperative and abandoned. Dissolution shall be conducted in accordance with Section 80.014.
(b) If the corporation or the suppression program is discontinued for any reason, assessments approved, levied, or otherwise collectible on the date of discontinuance remain valid as necessary to pay the financial obligations of the corporation.
