Terms Used In Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 103.13
- Person: means a natural person or association of natural persons, trustee, receiver, partnership, corporation, organization, or the manager, agent, servant, or employee of any of them. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Any person with an ownership or a security interest in a vehicle that has been seized under § 103.03 may recover possession of the vehicle pending suit for forfeiture by executing a bond with surety equal to double the appraised value of the vehicle. The bond shall be approved by the officer who made the seizure and shall secure the return of the vehicle to the custody of the seizing officer on the day of trial of the forfeiture suit.
