(a) In this section, “sports venue” means a public entertainment facility property, as defined by § 108.73, that is primarily designed and used for live sporting events.
(b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this code, in addition to any other period during which the sale and consumption of alcohol is authorized under this code:
(1) a licensed or permitted premises located in a sports venue may sell alcoholic beverages between 10 a.m. and noon; and
(2) a person may consume alcoholic beverages at a sports venue between 10 a.m. and noon.
Terms Used In Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 105.07
- Person: means a natural person or association of natural persons, trustee, receiver, partnership, corporation, organization, or the manager, agent, servant, or employee of any of them. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
- Premises: has the meaning given it in § 11. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Venue: The geographical location in which a case is tried.
