(a) A wine and malt beverage retailer’s permit is issued by the commission. The qualification of applicants and the application for and issuance of the permit are governed by the same provisions which apply to the application for and issuance of a retail dealer’s on-premise license.
(b) The provisions of this code applicable to the cancellation and suspension of a retail dealer’s on-premise license also apply to the cancellation and suspension of a wine and malt beverage retailer’s permit.
Terms Used In Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 25.04
- Commission: means the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
- Malt beverage: means a fermented beverage of any name or description containing one-half of one percent or more of alcohol by volume, brewed or produced from malt, in whole or in part, or from any malt substitute. See Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code 1.04
