Terms Used In Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 523 - Provisions Relating to Victims of Identity Theft

• Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.

• Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
