Terms Used In Texas Education Code 21.260
- Oral argument: An opportunity for lawyers to summarize their position before the court and also to answer the judges' questions.
- Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
A certified shorthand reporter shall record the oral argument under § 21.258 and the announcement of the decision under § 21.259. The school district shall bear the cost of the services of the certified shorthand reporter.
