(a) In this section, “non-enrolled student” means a student who receives instruction as described by § 29.916(a)(1) from a nonpublic school.
(b) For each non-enrolled student who participates in a University Interscholastic League activity for a school in a school district that allows participation of non-enrolled students under § 33.0832, as added by Chapter 996 (H.B. 547), Acts of the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021, the district is entitled to an annual allotment of $1,500 per league activity in which the non-enrolled student participates.
