Terms Used In Texas Family Code 35A.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This chapter applies to a person whose relationship to a child would make the person eligible to consent to treatment under § 32.001(a)(1), (2), or (3), and who has had actual care, custody, and control of the child for the six months preceding the filing of a petition under this chapter.
